Chapter Description
Chapter 1 Daisy, frustrated with her college life and feeling nostalgic, wishes one night that she can go back into the past. She goes to sleep not thinking anything happened. But when she wakes up she realized that no one is there. No parents or siblings, no people are outside or in the shops. No animal anywhere to be seen, and no bugs just sounds. She doesn't know what to do and is at a loss, stunned her wish came true but confused as to why there are no people.
Chapter 2 After walking around for hours trying to find someone she laments, but is quickly distracted by things from her childhood that she remembers and is seeing all over again. She visits a toy store and plays with all of the toys she remembers and some more that she wanted but never got as a child. She goes to an ice cream shop and discovers that even without people there is food. She makes a big sundae and eats it happily. But at the tail end she feels a twinge of sadness knowing no one is there with her. She goes to the skating rink, and kids play palace, the movie theatre, but none of it is the same without people.
Chapter 3 Sitting on a swingset at her favorite park as a kid she has memories about her parents. Her dad pushing her on the swing and her mother bringing a picnic for the family. She cries thinking she may never see them again and regrets her wish. She goes to her home and falls asleep in her parents bed, crying. The next day she wakes up and gets dressed and decides to go clothing and makeup shopping. She walks in the mall, looking around the different shops and taking whatever she wants off of the racks. She sits byt the fountain to take a break and catched a glimpse of someone walking around a corner. She drops everything and runs to follow but upon turning the corner she realizes they were gone.
Chapter 4 The next day she sits down at a resturant just wanting to be in the atmosphere. Knowing that no one will come take her order. She gets herself a drink and sits down and plays with the menu. Suddenly a young man appears and asks for her order. She shockingly gives it and the man goes back into the kitchen. She runs back there to try and find him to talk to him but he is gone, and on the stainless steel window counter she sees her plate of food that she ordered. She takes the hot plate and sits down and eats her food, confused, and wondering where the boy came from and where he went after he went back into the kitchen.
Chapter 5 Later that afternoon she decides to go see a movie. She goes up to the ticket counter talking as if there's a person, knowing there wont be. She passes by the ticket counter and walks through the doors. At the snack register she playfully orders to no one before trying to hop over the counter to get her own snacks and popcorn. going to a random theatre and sitting down she realized that there's no one to turn on the projector so there will be no movies. When she thinks that suddenly the movie trailers start to play. The projector was turned on. She bolts up the steps to the projector room and swings the door open but no one is there once again.
Chapter 6 She decides that she's going to find this person. Whatever she needs to do she's going to do it. Because he may be her ticket out of this place. She devises a trap at night when she should be sleeping. The next morning she constructs her trap and gets in the waiting position. While she is waiting behind her she hears a voice ask her what she is doing. She turns around and sees the man that took her order in the resturant. She asks who he is and he replies his name is Cody, and he is also stuck in this place.
Chapter 7 The pair decide to run to the local mall and grab a bite to eat. He tells her that he's just always been here, nothing changes. When questioned he simply repeats himself and adds on that he doesn't remember how he got here. Daisy leaves it alone and tells him they're going to have fun to try and lighten up the mood. She takes him 'shopping', then to a little kids fun palace where there are go carts. They play games, laser tag, and ride the go carts.
Chapter 8 Cody stops them and asks to eat saying he's hungry so they head to Daisy's favorite returant. They sit down and look at the menu and pick out food. Cody leaves the table to go into the kitchen and comes back out with the food they want to eat. Daisy is amazed but Cody tells her he just learned how to cook from being here so long. Daisy asks if they age in here and Cody replies that he doesn't think so, he hasn't aged so far. When questioned on how long Cody replies that he has lost track of how long and can't give an answer. The two of them finish their food and leave while still talking about this odd maze.
Chapter 9 Daisy gets into a car and asks if driving is possible. Cody says that it is but you need the keys. As he says that Daisy folds open the mirror above her and out fall the keys to the car. She starts the car and they go to her childhood home where she is currently sleeping. Cody asks if he can stay with her in another room and Daisy agrees saying he can have her parents room. They enter the house and she shows him her parents room and goes to her room for the night. She goes to bed happy that she isn't alone anymore.
Chapter 10 She wakes up to the smell of bacon and syrup. Getting out of bed, she thinks to herself that Cody is probably cooking breakfast which is nice. It's been a long time since someone cooked her breakfast. Making her way to the kitchen she says loud enough for Cody to hear, that it smells good. He thanks her and continues making bacon and pancakes. Lastly he drops a few eggs in the pan to cook and smiles at Daisy. He fixes the plates and sits down at the table with her and eats. They start to plan what to do before Daisy asks the question, "So how are we going to get out of here?"
Chapter 11 Cody freezes and looks at her blankly saying that there is no way out and that he tried. Daisy replies that now that there's two of them they can try new things. Cody shakes his head. He replies that he doesn't want to leave anymore and gets up to clean his plate. He takes her finished plate and washes that one too. Daisy asks him if they can go to the aquarium together. Cody looks up and smiles and replies he'd be happy to go with her.
Chapter 12 The two of them go to the aquarium and go through all of the placeswithin the large aquarium. The snack bar, the orca's, the sharks, and finally the tropical fish. Daisy is shocked to see fish there and asks Cody if he knows why fish are here. Cody replies that he doesn't know but they probably arent real. Any living things he's seen, like animals have turned out to not be real. Daisy sighs, hoping that there was a chance of ANY other living thing in the maze. She leans her head onto his shoulder for support, feeling afraid of this place again. Cody smiles and pats her shoulder.
Chapter 13 Daisy decides that she doesn't care if they are real, and she just misses animals and asks to go to the zoo tomorrow to which Cody happily says yes. They fix food in the kitchen and sit down in front of the tv. There are nothing but older channels with older commercials. The tv looks to be the late 90s early 2000s in terms of what was playing. Before she can even ask Cody says that everything else was stuck in the past too. Music, internet, and TV all as they were during that time. She starts to feel dizzy and almost passes out. Cody helps her get to her bed and tucks her in for the night, and tells her not to think about it because thinking makes it worse. She falls asleep.
Chapter 14 Cut to her in her dreams she's running in pitch blackness. While running eyes all over the walls open up to look at her. She wakes up drenched in sweat. She gets up and goes to the bathroom locking the door behind her. She takes a shower and can't help but think about her dream. She was sure it had to do with the maze, it further gave evidence that the maze was malignant in nature. After her shower she walks into the computer room where Cody is. He's on the computer playing an old game. She tell him about the dream and he tells her it most likey has to do with the maze and it's a puzzle they'll have to figure out together. She looks over his shoulder while he plays.
Chapter 15 They decide to go to the zoo to look at the fake animals and try and figure out what they are. They take a good look and even put some of them but they act like regular animals and feel like regular animals. But they never eat, or go to the bathroom. It's like they exist just for show. Daisy comes to the conclusion that the maze might not actually be the past, but an illusion. She just doesn't know how or why it is what it is. Cody replies that the maze might not be made for everyone but specifically them. Pointing out that there are things in the maze that are specific to her especially. Things only she would remember.
Chapter 16 Late at night Daisy is up thinking about Cody. He confuses her with his odd behavior. He's nice enough but is a little strange in his mannerisms. She tosses the feelings aside hoping that hes just a little shy or just weird and nothing serious. He wasn't a threat, he was helping her try to get out of the maze. They had known each other for two weeks at this point but it felt like they had been friends for a long time. She's about to fall asleep when she hears a soft knock at her door. She opens the door to an obviously distressed Cody. He's shivering and looks to be on the edge of tears.
Chapter 17 Cody comes into her room and sits on the bed. He says he doesn't know what this feeling is or how to handle it. Daisy is confused but hugs him to comfort him. She sensed sadness from him but didn't know why he was sad. Maybe PTSD she thought. Her hug seemed to calm him down. He slowly raised his hands to hug her back and buried his face into her neck. Once he calms down he apologizes and tells her that he's going to bed. He leaves the room letting Daisy wonder what that was about.
Chapter 19 Cody wakes her up with a picnic basket and asks if she wants to go on a breakfast picnic to which she agrees. The two go to her favorite park but she notices that in the places where there should be buildings there's fields of flowers and grass instead. She marvals at the site, but wonder why this spot isn't like her memory. While Cody sets up the picnic, Daisy wanders around the play equipment. Under a slide she sees her name and Cody's name written above her head on the underside of the slide. She grabs Cody to show him, but when they get there her name and his are gone. Cody says it mightve just been an anomoly in the maze, and leads her back to the now finished picnic blanket.
Chapter 20 While eating breakfast she looks up and sees dolphins and bubbles floating through the air. Without taking her eyes off of them she flags Cody down to look up. And he looks up saying that they were anomolies too. Things that shouldn't be, but are because of the maze. She marvels at it and says that these kinds of anomolies are perfect and beautiful. Things that she's never seen before that make her nostalgic for another time. Cody smiles and slowly moves his hand to hold hers. She's a little surprised but allows it. They hold hands while looking up at the sky fish.
Chapter 21 The two of them get home Cody still holding onto Her hand. Finally Daisy stops and removes her hand from his grasp and tells him it's okay to let go. She gets a sad look on his face and goes back to his room. Daisy goes back to her room more suspicious of him than ever. Why didn't he tell her about these anomolies to begin with? And why was he acting so strange even stranger than normal? She gets dressed in clothes for the night and starts to suspect maybe he knows more than he lets on.
Chapter 22 Daisy wakes up early and goes out for a run. She was getting out of shape and if she was going to get out of the maze she may need to run. When she gets back to the house Cody is waiting outside for her. He asks where she has been and she replies honestly. Cody tells her to be careful on her won because they don't know the full capabilities of the maze. Daisy thinks about is and agrees, saying next time she'll drag him along to go running. They go inside together and try to plan the day. Daisy decides that they are going to go to a spa for the day. Cody is excited and the two of them go to the local store to get swimsuits for the day.
Chapter 23 They get to the spa and go to their respective lockers to change into their swimsuits. When they come out of the locker rooms Cody seems flustered but Daisy can't figure out why even after prying. She blows it off and they go to the baths and saunas. They spend the whole day there. At the end of it they each go back to their lockers. Daisy finds mineral baths by the locker rooms and decides to bathe one more place, this time with soap. The goes into the mineral baths with her washing supplies, and gets in the bath. As she's bathing she feels eyes on her which creeps her out, almost as if the maze is alive. She dunks her naked body back into the water to hide.
Chapter 24 Daisy bolts out of the bath and quickly dries off and puts her clothes back on. Exiting the locker room Cody is outside, sitting down and waiting on her. She prods him for more information about the maze, telling him what happened. Cody says the maze might be alive but to not worry about it. They can't do anything about it, and it shouldn't affect basic functions like bathing. Daisy thinks about it for a second but is confused. Is he defending the maze? She thinks to herself. They get home quickly and they stop moving in the car. Daisy confronts him finally. "You have something to do with this maze and I'm going to figure it out." She says to Cody. Cody laughs asking why she thinks that.
Chapter 25 Daisy explains her reasoning and Cody chuckles again. "If I were part of the maze what would I gain by helping you leave. You're getting paranoid." Daisy stops and thinks about what he said, maybe she is getting paranoid. The maze might be messing with her mind and trying to turn her against him So that they don't leave. Daisy apologizes and Cody says it's okay and they move on. Getting out of the car Daisy looks up and sees an incredible sight. You could see a whole galazy of stars above them. Stars like she's never seen before. Cody smiles behind her and watches her gaze at the stars.
Chapter 26 Late on, Daisy is getting ready for bed in her room, she turns the ligh on and crawls into bed only to hear a knock at her door as soon as she gets in bed. She says come in and Cody enters the room and sits on the edge of the bed. Cody smiles at her and says he just wanted company before bed and that he felt Alone. Daisy smiles back and tells him to stay as long as he wanted. He takes the offer and lays down on the bed beside her. He falls asleep quickly and Daisy follows soon after. He's still beside her when she wakes up in the morning. He wakes up and sleepily kisses her on the cheek and tells her good morning.
Chapter 27 Shiocked from the peck on the cheek she backs up a bit. Could he be acting funny because he has feelings for her. She imagines that being in a maze for however long might've diminished his social skills. She pecks him on the cheek back and says good morning and Cody looks at her with wide eyes and moves to kiss her fully. Daisy is surprised but leans into the kiss. They have a late morning waking up because neither of them want to leave the comfy bed.
Chapter 28 After spending the morning making out her and Cody finally enter the kitchen to fix something to eat. Daisy feels light headed from the experience she just had and she sleepily sits at the kitchen table and lets Cody cook for her. Cody is grinning from ear to ear and can't stop talking about what they were going to do today. Cody wanted to go to the toy store and asked if she wants to play with toys and just walk around looking at things. She happily agrees and they eat their food quickly so they can get dressed to leave.
Chapter 29 At the toy store the two of them have a ball. They play with dolls together and build huge forts with blocks. They draw all sorts of pictures together and do hula hoops and jump roping. They even take skates and skate around the toy store. Daisy spots toys that she wanted but never got as a child and they rip them open to finally play with them. Daisy is truly happy in that moment. Daisy decides to take the toys that she wanted as a kid home so she can look at them for a long time and decorate her room. Cody thinks it's a great idea so they bag them up and head home.
Chapter 30 Cody realized they are out of groceries and drops Daisy off so that he can go get groceries quickly and come back. Daisy waits patiently for him to get home, organizing her toys through her room. There were dozens of little miniature dolls lined against the walls and dolls on her desk. She covered every surface with things from her childhood. She stands back to look at her handiwork when Cody gets home. She leaves her room to help him with the food. She meets him at the door, Cody holding a bag of groceries. She looks up at him to greet him and sees he now has a third eye in the middle of his forehead, looking right at her.
Chapter 31 Daisy, reasonably, is very freaked out and screams. Cody however is unfazed and simply closes the eyeball and it turns to regular forhead. Daisy is backing up quickly trying to get away from him as fast as possible. Cody walks forward and asks what the problem is but Daisy is having none of that. She creams at him that he's a maze monster and to get away from her. Cody doesn't listen and moves forward. She decides to run out the back door and run around the side to get to the car. She rushes into the drvers seat, grabs the keys, and puts the car into drive and speeds away from her house leaving Cody behind.
Chapter 32 Daisy keeps driving, not really to any particular place, just away from Cody. Her mind was racing. This must've been why he was acting wierd, he wasn't human. She remembers the kiss and nearly vomits. She almost fell in love with a creature from this infernal maze that kept her trapped. The car suddenly starts to break down and Daisy hits the steering wheel terrified Cody or what ever that thing was, was not far behind her. She looks up through the windshield and sees nothing but endless rows of plain houses in a grass field. Perfectly green grass as far as the eye can see. She's confused because her environment did not look like this a second ago.
Chapter 33 She walks outside of the car and suddenly the sky goes black. The place seemed oddly familiar but a little off. Daisy recognizes this place as a Liminal Space. That's what it was called back home. She turned to her left to enter a house. When she walks into the house its a large tile pool room with aqua water. She has to go through it to get through the tunnel on the other end. She wades through the water and through the tunnel and comes out of the other end. On either side of her are wooden walls and she can see on either side over the ledge is what seems to be a library. She stops at a ladder and climbs up the wall to the floor above. She looks up from the floor and sees Cody staring down at her.
Chapter 34 Daisy quickly scrambles to get up onto her feet. And she gets into a defensive position before asking what he wants. He doesn't answer, just stares at her with cold eyes. She screams at him to show his true self. He acknowledges her and suddenly his body turns into a human like shaped, pitch black, goo like substance. And slowly eyes open up all over his face and body. He has no mouth. Daisy stands there, studded into silence. This is the creature she kissed. Something with no mouth. How vile, she thought to herself. She felt like her legs were going to give out on her. "There" he says. "Now you see the real me."
Chapter 35 He claims to not know what he is. Only that one day he existed as he is now, no birth just, suddenly. Daisy asks him if he eats people. He replies that he eats memories, slowly eating them until they even forget how to breathe, causing their deaths in the maze. She asks if he was eating her memories. And he replied that he has not eaten any of her memories. That when she made the wish it summoned him and he transported her to the maze made from her memories. And he follows it up with "There is no leaving my trap." She replies that she doesn't care she'll try anyways. She then asks, "If you aren't going to eat me then why am I here?"
Chapter 36 Cody goes on to say that from the moment he was summoned he was a little fascinated with her. And when she started to enjoy the maze he was astounded. Normally humans panic and run in fear. But she enjoyed the maze that he made for her. When he saw that she was becoming lonely, he formed a human disguise and became a friend. Slowly he realized he was forming feelings that humans have, including the feeling of love. Daisy starts to dissociate, horrified. Cody goes on to explain that she cannot leave not just because the maze won;t allow it but because he himself won;t allow it. That she will stay by his side for eternity. Daisy feels adrenaline run through her and she sprints away from him, only to be pulled back by her wrist by a slimy tentacle.
Chapter 37 He drags her through the maze by her wrist until they reach her house. On the indide everything looked just a little wrong like a liminal space. Nothing seemed comforting anymore. She gets thrown into her room and when he shuts the door to leave her alone, the door disappears. She bangs on the walls of her new enclosure and screams for him to let her out. She sits on the cold floor and brings her knees to her chest. She couldn't believe this was happening, and now more than ever she needed a way out. She needed to think of a way and fast. She decides her only way out might be to make a run for it when the door opens.
Chapter 38 The door materializes and she tries to bolt trough him but he's like a wall. She decides to punch and kick but her fist and foot get caught in his gooey body. She gets thrown back. Cody attempts to go back over his retoric about her not being able to leave but she interupts him. Screaming about how she will never stay by his side and she will get out of the maze. She runs past him and he actually lets her go and makes no move to attack her. She runs out of the door and is greeted byt a wide, hot, rocky plain. Seeing what is in store for her she turns around to go back inside but the house is gone. She's alone in a desert.
Chapter 39 She walks out in the hot sun. It's been what feels like a few days. She's hungry, thirsty, and tired. She's been walking for ages. She falls to the ground, weak from dehydration. She feels a blessed shadow overhead, and looks up hoping it's a cloud only to find Cody in his human form standing over her again. She rolls her eyes and tells him to go away. He looks down on her and tell her that if she doesn't stay near him she will surely die in the maze from her own stubborness. Her hunger and thirst finally overpower her and she agrees to talk with him but nothing more. Cody instantly materializes a diner around them. The diner her parents took her to as a kid.
Chapter 40 Cody immediately goes back to the ktichen and seconds later comes back with food and sets it on the table. While stuffing her face she questions him more. She asks if there are others like him and he replies yes, in the shadows of the real world they are there always. She ignores that he's there for a moments and just takes time to enjoy the water at the table. He goes on anyways to explain his feelings for her and how he controls every aspect of the maze. That she simply won't survive if she doesn't obey him. She eats the whole plate of food and looks up at him with a stubborn look and nods. On the ouside she's giving in, but in her mind she's ready to do what it takes to survive so she can examine the maze and figure out how to leave. There must be a way out.
Chapter 41 Walking back to the house she is quiet and thinking to herself. She needs to figure out a way out so she tries to remember everything that happened when she made her wish. The time was about 3 AM when she made the wish and it was dark in the room. Matbe the time of the night and the shadows. She always heard about weird things happening at 3 AM. What if it was the dark of night? He did say they exist in shadows. She wanders if she makes another wish she will be able to leave. After a few moments Cody looks down and tells her that she's free to roam the house but he would prefer to be by her side outside of the house. She almost protests but stops knowing it will do nothing.
Chapter 42 They walk into the living room and they both sit down on the couch. She hopes he will leave her but he doesn't. He sits beside her and stares at her. Daisy nervously turns on the TV and turns it to cartoons she watched as a kid to try and take her mind off of her situation. Suddenly she feels pulled towards him and looks down to see he's pulled her closer to him and is trying to hold her. She squirms to try and ignore him and go back to watching cartoons. She feels nothing but disgust knowing what he really is. He feels his nose poke her neck and she realizes he's trying to get a kiss.
Chapter 43 Daisy squirms harder to try and get away from him but it's no use. Cody holds her head in between his hands and forces a kiss on her. She spits in disgust and starts flailing fearing the worst. He lets her go and gets flustered. "I don't understand I know that you like kisses." He says. Daisy fires back she doesn't like kisses from lying monsters. He looks at her blankly and holds out his arms and tells her to hug him. She spits back that she would never do it willingly. "Unwillingly then." He says before making the environment one white box. She crumples to the floor and starts crying. By the time she looks back up she's back in the house and Cody is gone.
Chapter 44 Laying down in her bed at night she can't sleep. She thinks back on what he said. 'I know you like kisses' he said. How could he know that if he is something that never had a concept of affection and love. Then it dawns on her that everything in the maze has been from a memorie of hers aside from the creepy things and even those are from a part of a memory. If he eats memories it stands to reason that he can see a person's memories as well. If it's in the past at all it's a memory. Her mind isn't safe. As soon as she gets done with that thought her bedroom door opens, and Cody is standing there in his human form.
Chapter 45 Daisy pretends to sleep but knowing what she knows now she knows it won't work. She tries anyways. Cody slinks into bed with her and snuggles her as the big spoon. Cody tries to comfort her, sensing she's uncomfortable but it comes out as creepy. Daisy shivers and desperately tries to fall asleep. She knows she's in so much danger at this moment. She squeezes her eyes shut and prays that he will leave but he doesn't. After about an hour of stress she finally falls sleep. In the morning, he's still there, arms wrapped around her. She moves to leave the bed but get's stopped by him tugging her back. How was he awake does he not sleep?
Chapter 46 (NSFW CHAPTER YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED TW) "No I don't." He responds to her thought. It freaks Daisy out and she tries to scramble out of the bed but Cody holds her firm. She senses something different about him and freezes when she feels that familiar goo stuff. She looks up to gatch a glimpse of his creature form all eyes on her, before closing her eyes in fear again. He tells her that she can't hide a single thing from him and that he picks through her memories just for fun. Daisy squeezes her eyes shut harder and prays he leaves her be. He pulls her close until her body is flush to his and nuzzles his face into her neck. She shivers at the contact.
Chapter 47 (NSFW CHAPTER YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED TW) Her mind is swarming with feelings. She remembers how she felt when she didn't know he was a monster. A part of her wishes that she never found out it was all a lie. "What I feel is not a lie." He replies to her thought. Cody changes his form slightly so that he has a mouth and licks her neck from her collarbone to her chin and before she can catch it she whimpers. She both liked and hated that. Cody responds to the thought and sucks on the base of her neck. Daisy sighs and recoils a bit. She wonders if he's really about to take it this far. God how would it even work she wondered. The eyes on his body close except the two eyes on his face and he speaks into her ear "Only one way to find out."
Chapter 48 (NSFW CHAPTER YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED TW) Tentacles hold her body in place while Cody teases her, Sucking on her neck until a red hickie appears. Daisy squirms and moans lightly, not being able to help it but giving in slightly. It had been ages since she was touched at all she was so sensitive. She feels a tentacle venture down her body to her panties and she tries to close her legs in response. But the other appendages hold her legs open firmly. The tentacle teases her by rubbing softly against her clit, Daisy wiggles in place and nearly screams. It felt so good but she hated it and she hated him. The tentacle leaves and Cody's body moves down hers until his head is between her legs.
Chapter 49 (NSFW CHAPTER YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED TW) She's held in place with her legs wide open for him to see everything. She doesn't try to fight because she's held tightly. Cody gets to work, and licks her slit from bottom to top and stops on her clit, staying there and sucking on it. Daisy moans loudly and her head is filled with sparks. Her hands move down to the back of his head and she hold him in place. He responds to the touch and plays with her faster, and adds a tentacle that slides easily into her pussy. She gasps and can't control her moans. This goes on and on until Daisy reaches her peak and climaxes hard. Cody removes his tongue and tentacle and sits up on his knees. Daisy pants and looks down to see he's created a large cock just to put inside her.
Chapter 50 (NSFW CHAPTER YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED TW) Cody grabs her hips and slides himself into her cunt slowly. Daisy can feel every ridge and vein and whimpers while tossing her head back. It felt like magic she couldn't explain it. He stays sheathed inside of her for just a moment, pulsing a bit and grunting under his breath at the new feeling. He slowly pumps in and out of her, Daisy's moans filling the room they were in. The sounds make him feel this primal urge to own her, so he picks up the pace and thrusts into her faster and harder. The bed shakes with every movement and Daisy has completely submitted to him. Cody gives one last thrust into her before filling her up with a substance that mimicked the real thing. Daisy gives one last good moan before finally passing out from overstimulation.
Chapter 51 Daisy wakes up covered in dried sweat and looks to her left thinking she'll see Cody but she doesn't. The door swings open and there he is with a plate of breakfast for Daisy. She sits up. After last night she registers the absolute danger she was in. Was she a pet to him? He places the plate in front of her and opens his mouth, "I have to lure another human into this maze to try and eat." Daisy cringes on the inside knowing that another person will die in the maze and eventually it could be her. Cody smiles before kissing her lightly on the forehead and leaving the room, and then the house. Daisy hear's the door shut and she gets to work. How is she going to get out, this is the perfect chance.
Chapter 52 Daisy sits at her desk and thinks about her present life. She missed her mom and dad and her big brother. She missed her school and even the homework. She missed everything about her present life and felt almost nostalgic about it. She buries her face into her knees and cries. She might never see her family or school ever again. She moves to the window, tears still in her eyes. And makes a wish to the sunny sky above. "I wish I was back home with my family." And in an instant she''s back in her room at night, the same place she made the wish. Her room exactly as it was, and the clock at 3:33 AM. She reels backwards at the change. She's home?
Chapter 53 She quietly walks out of the door and opens her parents door. They were there asleep in their beds. She opens her brothers door and there he is too, also asleep. She silently celebrates. She got out of the maze by cherishing her present life how incredible. She walks to the kitchen and reaches into the fridge and pulls out leftover casserole her mother made. She couldn't wait to eat her mother's cooking again. She heats up a plate in the microwave and is very quiet to not wake them up. She turns around to go back home and is greeted by Cody, in his human form his face was twisted in confusion and anger.
Chapter 54 Daisy strikes him in the face, her hand going right through him and his pins her to the tile floor. She gets loose and bails out of the front door to the storage building. She looks around for a weapon like ashovel but knows they won't work. She sees lighter fluid and a match and gets the idea to light him on fire. He slinks into the storage building and she dumps the lighting fluid onto him, lights a match, and throws it in his direction. The fire spread quickly and he gets burned to nothing, screaming the whole way. Her parents run into the yard saying they called the police and asking her what happened. The fire department and police get to the scene and she explains everything but is laughed at. Her mother looks down and tells her she believes her. Daisy looks up to see a third eye on her mother's forhead. She realizes she never left the maze. Her world melts around her and she's in front of her house with no people other than Cody standing in the drive way looking intently at her. She can never leave. He really did mean it. She couldn't think of a way out and found nothin in her search. It was over with. She gives up and hangs her head, getting up and walking towards Cody before wrapping her arms around his waist and hugging him. Cody holds her back and says, "Did we finally realize you can't leave." Daisy just simply replies 'yes' and buries her head into his chest. Cody kisses the top of her head and smiles.
Chapter 55 Epilogue: A man is running through the maze horrified there are no people and animals and that he isn't alone. He recognizes his surroundings but they are a bit off and it drives him mad. He runs into a building and encounters a room with just a ceiling fan and a few balloons on the carpet floor. The walls are blank with no pictures. He moves through the building and opens another door to reveal Cody in his human form, and sitting beside him was Daisy. She looked almost dead in the eyes, hope completely gone, and accepting of her fate. Cody smiles at the terrified man and the eyes on his body open. The man screams before being attacked by Cody. Daisy looks on smiling gently.
